With Thanksgiving
“Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”
Psalm 100:3-5
We are his! The Lord is good and his love endures forever! Let us bask in his faithfulness and live in thankfulness for all He’s done.
Next Tuesday we’ll go over the first half of Philippians, including this powerful passage–where again the perspective of thanksgiving is central:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
