The Gospel in Waller Hall
Hey Guys,
This is Ben Porter. In Romans Paul asks us a disturbing question: “Everyone who calls on the Lord will be saved. (But) How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard.” This rhetorical proposition leaves us with little question regarding who Paul is asking to fulfill this “great commission”. It is us! In the consuming drudgery of our lives we tend to forget that there are sinners who are completely condemned to eternal death and separation from our glorious Father. We must realize our responsibility as “joint heirs with Christ” and live to communicate the Gospel to the world around us. It is in this responsibility that I would love to serve you guys by facilitating a place on campus where the Gospel is being put forth. I will be going through the book of Romans and pulling out key sections of the book which are saturated with the Gospel so we can discuss the glorious work of Jesus. Here you can invite your non Christian friends to hear the Gospel for the first time or you can come by yourself and sharpen your perception of Jesus throughout scripture.
How glorious our God would look if even one person was added to the kingdom this semester. Praise Jesus!
We will be meeting in Waller Hall in rm. 446 on Wednesdays. If you need to get in the building or have questions my phone number is (206) 518 0421 or you can E-mail me at bporter1989@gmail.com
