Description:
This year’s Warrior Poets group will be providing two kinds of events: the Evenings With Elders speaking series and the Thoughts for Young Men book study.
Thoughts for Young Men is an excellent resource for young male individuals seeking to grow into godly men who are responsible and whose lives are upheld by the principles of Biblical Christianity. Published over a century ago, its contents are directly applicable to young men in any culture and time. With multiple references to the Scriptures throughout this short book, Ryle offers jewels of wisdom which promise to stay with young men throughout their lives.
In addition to this study, there will be Evenings with Elders. This will occur about once a month and will consist of a barbeque, a time of fellowship, and an evening with an elder from the E-Free Church. The elders will be there to get to know us and to speak on experiences that they have encountered in their lives. Some of these topics include holding a job, raising a family and how their relationships with Christ has grown during these experiences.
